When wood leaves the forest with FSC certification, we ensure that certified companies throughout the supply chain meet our standards, so that when products carry the FSC logo, you can be sure that they have been made from responsibly sourced raw materials. In this way, FSC certification helps you make ethical and responsible decisions at your local supermarket, bookstore, furniture shop and many other places.

As Notedeco, we declare that now and in the future as long as the association with FSC continues, we will not directly or indirectly participate in the following unacceptable activities:

1. Illegal logging and trade in illegal timber or other forest products;
2. Violation of human rights and customary laws in forestry operations; and
3. Destruction of protected high conservation value forest areas within forest operations;
4. Significant conversion of forest land to plantations or non-forest land;
5. Use of genetically modified organisms in forest operations
6. Violating any of the core conventions of the INTERNATIONAL LABOUR ORGANISATION, as defined in the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
